These colourful works emerge from complex dialogue with the materials I use. Often painting with both hands I combine oil with oil pastel, acrylic paint with pastel – virtually moving through these painted worlds and abstract landscapes. The process is quite delicate. Starting from a point of chaos, colourful paint strokes and lines emerge from the invisible. The creation happens at that moment. This is where the tension lies – catching ideas that fly by in seconds. The challenge lies in preserving the freshness and yet improving the momentous composition.
